2008 Obedience Class Schedule-

Private lessons are available.  Contact our training Director Ruth Baker at 419-562-3212. The 2008 Schedule is:

Class 1 will run from March 18 through April 22; Class 2 will be from May 6 through June 10;  Class 3 will be from June 24 through July 29; and Class 4 will be from August 12 through September 16. The final class will be September 30 through November 4, 2008 All classes subject to change, depending on our instructors schedules;  all dogs adopted from CCHS will pay $25.00 for the 6 week class. The regular rate is $ 40.00.

Free Straw Program

Thanks to animal loving people, we will again be able to offer free straw to Crawford County residents that need assistance in caring for their outside pets during the winter months.  You are allowed 1 bale per outside dog with a maximum of 3 bales.  This program runs from November 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008. You may pick up your straw at the Humane Society during regular business hours.  (10-5 Mon through Friday or 11-3 on Saturday).

If you loose your loving pet, our crematorium services are available to you through your local veterinarian or directly with us. 

You can opt to have your animal cremated with the remains returned to you, in an urn, or you can have the animal cremated with no ashes to be returned to you.

We also have a variety of urns available.  Some include a picture of your loving pet, a brass name plate.  Whatever your wishes, check with us for additional information.
